Upgrade to the Latest Product Release

NEW! TIBCO JasperReports Server Pro 8.0.0 software was released in November 2021, along with the other Jaspersoft family products (TIBCO Jaspersoft Studio, TIBCO JasperReports library,  and TIBCO JasperReports IO). Feel free to check out the release notes, or you can also find them within the product. All users are recommended to upgrade to the latest version of the products.

Also, Security Service packs for TIBCO JasperReports Server Pro 7.9.x, 7.8.x, 7.5.x, and 7.2.x releases were published in November 2021. More details about the addressed issues can be found on our Security Advisories page.

Please note that the latest Service Pack is released in a new, lightweight format. This format allows applying the changes without the hassle of performing the full upgrade.

The recommended way to apply the security patch for JRS versions 7.9.x, 7.8.x, and 7.5.x is to download the latest cumulative hotfix for the version 7.9.1, 7.8.1, or 7.5.2 corresponding to your product. Alternatively, you can download the security Service Pack without the latest non-security fixes from the eDelivery portal.

End-of-Life Timelines 

Support for version 7.2.x of the Jaspersoft product family (JasperReports, JasperReports Server, Jaspersoft Studio) will end on DECEMBER 19, 2021.

If you are still using a Jaspersoft product version 7.2.x or earlier, please plan to upgrade to a supported version as soon as possible.

Profile attributes can be very useful when defining data source configurations. They allow portability across JasperReports Server organizations, or between test, QA, and production environments. JasperReports Server software will dynamically pull the values defined in the user, organizational, or server profile attributes. This eliminates the need to create multiple data sources.

Define the profile attributes on the user or organization with appropriate permission level.
