Which authentication method for Microsoft SQL Server native connection?

Hello. I'm new to Scribe. I'm using Workbench 7.5.2 and I'm trying to set up a source native connection to Microsoft SQL Server 2008. How do I specify Windows authentication for the user id? Is the format domain\username in the username field? I've tried that and it doesn't work. I get error 1005 [28000] SQL call failed. Login failed. Native error 18456. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]

I am able to configure an ODBC connection using the domain ID so I know it has access to the SQL server.

BTW - why does the native database connection give an ODBC SQL Server Driver error? Is it using ODBC?

Thanks

David
